Walked upon the legs that wouldn't carry, Fly away around the sun
Leave the misery for heaven; and dance this dream again someday.
And as the grass grows through the concrete, Life embraces bitter land Don't cease to trust, don't cease to love. Walk the dream, walk the dance.
Because only grace can fix what hearts can break.

I wanted to try out a concept revolving around the bittersweet phrase "All those lovely faces, you don't need them anymore." In which I'd take the past artworks of my own, and create something like a big cloud of past memories and events leaving the hearts and eyes of the Doctor, as well as do a bit of research on the Gallifreyan language. Its a bit blurred, but I inserted the names of past companions, as well as phrases like "come along" and "Together or not at all".
This is so striking--you never cease to amaze me. The slightly abstract quality to the cloud, and specifically the pictures chosen from your gallery really give the effect I think you were going for: a maelstrom of scattered memories and moments, savored once but gone forever. The Doctor’s figure, though, is what makes it for me, I think (and also manages to break my heart into dozens of little pieces, buhh). It’s just a touch scared, a touch hesitant, yet also, just a bit, hopeful. He’s so afraid to acknowledge what was, but wants so badly to go back to that time… His body language is so potent to me, betraying his emotion though all we see is his profile, and unfff that is a beautiful hand; so much expression right there. The color scheme here is truly gorgeous; I mean, really, the fiery reds and cool, starry blues are exactly the Doctor in every way, with a furious passion belying the hollow, desolate, lost, broken man hiding beneath, who wants nothing more than to have something constant in his life, but he never finds it, and is terrified he never will, so he tries not look back on all the jagged edges and unwilling good-byes and fleeting happiness, and just keeps running, running, running... caring and loving and laughing with all he's got, carrying a silly grin on his face to hide his pain...
A stunning composition in every way; I believe we all know how it feels to lose someone… and that is so relatable, and so, so poignant here. Thank you for your marvelous work.
I love this. It's very well drawn, and the symbolism you put into it is beautiful. Thank you for adding this wonderful piece of artwork to the Doctor Who fandom.
