Description
"These things that etch radiance upon us call out to the times."
Trivia time!
I realize *most* of you guys follow me for my #DoctorWho artwork, but eve wonder why most of my pieces tend to feature contrasting main colors and always seem to have at least a little bit of vibrant Red?
Well, a lot of it is thanks to these guys! I used to ["used to" might soon become the incorrect word] draw Sanada, Masamune, and the rest of the Sengoku gang like mad, and so that gave me a lot of practice in finding/using different shades of reds and blues, and gave me a love for mixing opposite hues, applying desaturated colors, and using reds in a vibrant way. The messy intensity of my sketches that came from drawing them is at the core of a lot of what I make today. It's evolved a lot in the past year or two, but these two started me off in that. And it's such a brilliant feeling to have them rise up to the surface of my work again.
The more you know...!

About Sharing on Tumblr--
I do realize that *most* of the sengoku fandom has migrated to Tumblr, and the Marvel Fandom is heavily on Tumblr as well-- so I give you full permission to share all future Marvel/Sengoku/DoctorWho/etc on your Blogs/Tumblrs/etc-- all I ask is that you credit me, and do all the linking business respectively. If said artwork is available as a print, then you can link them to that as well. A lot of folks said they wished to share some artworks on Tumblr, and well, thanks to your respect in that area-- now you can do just that! Whoo!
In other news, thanks to our hard work on our latest costumes, you may see more Sengoku Basara artwork about the place. It comes with the territory of doing research and working on a character for a season. I'm also revisiting a lot of my older SB works, to make them available for print as the months go by. I also have finished a *L o v e l y* Doctor Who artwork that I'm excited to post once I give it one more look-over. Finally, Thanks to [the brilliant] show that is Agent Carter, you'll be seeing more Cap and Peggy, for sure.
Hope you enjoy! Will be available as prints and merch soonishly.
